Minister of Finance Dr. Youssef Boutros Ghali has announced that pension outlets have been launched in August to pay hikes applied on floating wages at the rate of 80% of the value of the raise for l999 and which have not been added to the basic salary, in response to a court order from the constitutional court on the right of early pensioners to the raise.
Dr. Ghali has explained that the total number of beneficiaries are around 111,000 thousand early pensioners at a total cost of 2 million pounds.
Dr. Ghali noted that that discounts by social insurance companies have been eliminated on floating wages in cases where the maximum limit for members annually is 6000 pounds.
Dr. Ghali said that extra outlets and insurance companies have been increased to avoid unnecessary crowded at outlets. He said the idea is to upgrade services and encourage geographic expansion. 54 outlets have already been distributed throughout Egypt.
