5% of the new state budget employee from among the disadvantaged
-
Minister of Finance Dr. Boutros Ghali said the new state budget for the fiscal year 2006/2007 contained a clause committing economic authorities to recruit 5% of its employee from among the disadvantaged while name plating their post and salary.
Dr. Ghali said the new state budget has ruled out financing of the higher
posts without approval from the Prime Minister. The ban will not include university teachers. The new budget has also banned the double occupation of posts for employees on leave without pay unless authorized by the planning department. The new budget also stipulates the eradication of the post of the general manager once vacated. It has also ruled out the exploitation of costs for such posts by other departments nor over charging compensations to employees without a presidential decree. Meanwhile bonuses to experts can only be settled within range of stipulated regulations, bearing that settlements cannot be funneled from allocations to water or electricity.
