Minister of Finance Dr. Youssef Boutros Ghali has announced that ATM cards will be distributed among pensioners who will be able to withdraw from accounts around the clock.  ATM machines will serve five million people with the capacity of each to serve five thousand citizens.  The equipment will be placed in the more crowded areas to serve a greater number of people.

The government is attempting to adapt pensioners with the concept of using ATM machines instead of paper money; a fact which will save huge amounts in the budget reaching a net amount of  8.1 billion pounds monthly.  Social insurance outlets will also be increased.

A new computer center is being installed in the 6^th of October City to boost the skills of employees in the social insurance departments and improve the working climate.

Investments in the bonds sector has increased giving a boost to the bond portfolio and its interest compared to earlier losses suffered by the bond sector in Egypt.
