Minister of Finance Dr. Ahmed Galal received his partner the Kuwaiti Finance Minister Anas Al-Saleh on the sidelines of Kuwait’s participation in the Arab League’s meetings. The meeting was attended by the Kuwaiti ambassador in Cairo Salem AlZamanan

Dr. Galal said the meeting dealt with ways of maximizing governmental  and  private sector cooperation between the two sisterly countries in the coming phase, in addition to commending Kuwait’s strong support to Egypt lately, stressing the Egyptian government’s concern to solve all problems facing the Kuwaiti enterprises working in Egypt.

The Kuwaiti Finance Minister, Anas Al-Saleh, asserted his country’s interest to bolster the Egyptian economy on all levels, emphasizing Egypt’s ability to overcome all its challenges.

He signaled the Kuwaiti government’s endeavor to increase investments in Egypt and encourage the Kuwaiti private sector to pump more investments in the Egyptian economy.

Kuwait, worth mentioning, extended aids to Egypt estimated at $3bn, including one- billion- dollar oil shipments, and $2bn deposits in CBE.
