Head of the Egyptian Tax Authority Mahmoud Mohamed Aly has announced that Minister of Finance Dr. Youssef Boutros Ghali has issued a number of directives to facilitate dealings with taxpayers in the event of submissions of tax returns.  200 tax districts are ready to receive taxpayers. The chief of the tax authority has predicted that the number of tax returns are expected to soar in view of the facilities and the eradication of red tape.  Over 2.5 million taxpayers are expected to come forward leading to a rise in the tax revenue by 30% over last year.  (source: Al-Akhbar)
