By Alaa Shahine July 8 (Bloomberg) -- Egypt’s Finance Ministry denied a report that it was in talks with the World Bank to obtain a $1.2 billion loan to finance the government budget deficit. “It’s not true,” Mohamed Assaad, adviser to Finance Minister Youssef Boutros-Ghali on public debt management, said in a telephone interview today. Al Masry Al Youm newspaper had earlier reported that the ministry was in talks with the World Bank about the loan, citing an unnamed official.
