AIIB Member Day focusing on Egypt as well as the Seminar on Investment opportunities in Africa: Mr. Ahmed Kouchouk noted that Egypt is one of the first and largest founding members of AIIB from the African continent, Egypt shared a vision with other founders with a firm belief in the mission and mandate of the bank, particularly its goal of mobilizing much needed for infrastructure and development projects through expanding inter-regional connectivity and integration between emerging market economies and developing countries in Asia, Africa and South America.
