The custody department at the Ministry of Finance has announced that the department is close to implementing the electronic archiving system for over 30 thousand files as a preliminary phase to eliminate the files. Head of the custody authority has said that his department is committed to paying compensations on files that have court orders, while explaining that the work of the custody authority is based on management and sale of property taken by the state, in addition to funds of drug dealers.  Head of the custody department Tarek Farrag has noted that in some cases management of property can be more beneficial than their sale.
