Head of the customs authority Galal Abul Fetouh has reiterated that the introduction of the new risk system will lead to the release of more than 90% of imports through the green zone without enforcing customs procedures in line with regulations copied by developed nations. 55% of products have been released  in Alexandria under the soft opening of the newly applied risk system.‏ Mr. Abul Fetouh added that the risk department is one of the newly acquired monitoring systems on some of the imports and exports. He noted that the new risk system or green line zone cannot eradicate other monitoring systems altogether and which are essential to monitor the system and stand up to evasion attempts or the loss of the customs collection..‏ He added that the customs release service through the internet including the foreign exchange list, the Manifest  and other services has led to the registration of 244 companies and importers.  Already 24 companies have been trained to use the manifest and more are joining in.  Abul Fetouh noted the positive impact of customs reform on the World Bank statements.
