The tax authority is signing an agreement with the postal service to open a branch for the tax authority to receive tax returns.  The announcement was made by the head of the tax authority in efforts to facilitate payment.  It has also been decided that taxpayers may pay the tax at any of the available districts or through the email. Mr. Mahmoud Aly explained that sales tax districts are capable of receiving income tax returns while tax employees are receiving training to learn to deal with the new income taxes. He noted that lately a number of outlets have opened to expand awareness on tax payments.  He said that specialists and tax experts are responding to complaints and on steps to issue tax cards. He explained that he issued directives to tax districts to allow tax officers to reach out to small taxpayers in their locations to encourage paymets.  He noted that returns on taxes will witness a remarkable improvement in the number of submitted returns. Head of the authority said that the new tax return has been simplified and that the authority is adopting a new stance based on self evaluation. He also noted that small taxpayers have been given consideration and they will have the authority to select what represents his line of expertise.  Accountants will also facilitate a system of calculation among small businesses.  The statements in the tax returns do not contain new requests but is based on statements which are already present in registries.  Source: Al-Gomhuriya))
