Head of the Egyptian Tax Authority Ashraf Al Araby has announced that the tax authority is reviewing a draft plan to exempt micro projects from taxation. Mr. Al Araby has added during the meeting with members of the commercial chamber in Cairo that the decision will be activated as soon as a comprehensive financial definition of micro enterprises has been adequately drawn.  The decision is an effort in part to give a boost to micro projects provided the latter submit regular tax returns.
