Minister of Finance: 220 million EGP for Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU), 88 million EGP for Textile Sector and 92 million EGP for the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater.

Minister of Finance, Hany Kadry Dimian, agreed on many allocations in current December within implementation of general budget in current fiscal year, of which 88.5 million EGP for Textile Sector, 220 million EGP for ERTU and 3 million EGP for Sono Cairo/Sout  Alqahira for Audio and Video.

The Head of General Budget Sector, Mohamed Abdel Fattah, revealed that textile sector allocation is distributed to 80 million EGP for Cotton& Textile Industries Holding Company (CTIHC) to fill the gap in its affiliated companies’ employee salaries in current December, 8.495 million EGP for Misr- Shebin El Kom Company for the current month employee salaries. He said that the Holding Company and Misr- Shebin El kom have got 716 million EGP from Public Treasury during the first half of current fiscal year within the government efforts to support textile sector.

He added that as a result of applying the new mechanism related to transfer of public entity allocations in general budget without being resubmitted to Minister of Finance, the board of general budget agreed on allocating 92.5 million EGP in December 2014 to Water and Wastewater sector, of which 62.5 million EGP for the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater to support the efforts in improving its services to citizen, in addition to 30 million EGP as subsidy to water plant in Sidi Heneish in Matrouh governorate.
