Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance, stressed the importance of exploring economic and financial cooperation opportunities with the Kingdom of Bahrain to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development goals, encourage increased mutual investments, and expand partnership projects with the private sector in a manner consistent with the Egyptian-Bahraini relations in various fields, and contribute to facing economic challenges and regional and international geopolitical tensions.

 

In his meeting with the Bahraini ambassador in Cairo, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, the Minister pointed out the keenness of the Egyptian side to exchange experiences with the Bahraini side in the development of financial policies to stimulate economic growth, which is reflected in the growing bilateral cooperation relations between each Ministry of finance of the two brotherly countries in various fields and issues of common interest.

 

The Minister explained that the Egyptian government is making great and consistent efforts to create a favorable business environment that is more capable of attracting diversified investment flows in the various components of the Egyptian economy, thus contributing to increasing productivity rates and expanding the export base.
