Minister of Finance, Ahmed Kouchouk, stressed that we are working to increase investments in the energy sector, within the framework of an integrated and consistent vision to support the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy, pointing out that we believe that "more investment today" means "better tomorrow with more production" in a way that contributes to improving the lives of citizens.

 

In the "Financing and Investment in Energy" session during the "EGYPS 2025" conference, the Minister said that we are committed to supporting the efforts of the Ministries of Petroleum and Electricity, aiming at enhancing energy security with an ambitious and more sustainable vision, explaining that there is full coordination with the Ministries of Electricity and Petroleum to ensure the sustainability of energy sources for all sectors and individuals, and that we work according to an integrated vision to deal with the needs of the energy sector, taking into account the great focus on rationalization measures, raising energy efficiency, and expanding renewable sources.

 

The Minister added that we are keen to pay the commitments in a timely manner to encourage investment in the energy sector, pointing out that the government is focusing on switching to renewable sources of energy that are more sustainable, efficient and less expensive.
