Hany Kadry Dimian: Interviews with Emirates’ senior officials to explore mutual cooperation portfolios

A meeting with major Emirates companies to present available investment opportunities in Egyptian market

Ministers of Finance, Petroleum, and Investment started on Sunday business visit for the United Arab Emirates, to discuss a number of bilateral cooperation files and mutual interesting issues, as well as to promote available investment opportunities in Egypt.

The Minister of Finance, Mr. Hany Kadry Dimian, declared that the visit which extends till Tuesday is within the permanent consultations and coordination to deepen cooperation relations between Egypt and UAE, and development on all levels. He pointed that the Egyptian ministerial delegation will meet Emirates’ senior officials, headed by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Presidential Affairs , Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Emitrate Minister of State, and Sheikh Obaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs.

He said that the ministerial delegation will participate in the meeting held with heads of major UAE firms to discuss and solve any problems or obstacles face the UAE firms invested in Egypt as well as review available investment opportunities in the Egyptian market in petroleum, gas, electric power, and financial sectors.

He also added that, he would review through his meeting with the ministers of the United Arab Emirates, the features of the Egyptian government program, to develop and modernize the Egyptian economy in addition to the taken reforms to control the new FY state general budget deficit or to improve business environment besides the PPP that the Ministry of Finance prepares to offer to investors during the next phase.
