( solar /gasoline) An agreement had been signed between Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Interior and e-finance company (an Egyptian joint stock company) that implement the electronic system for distributing the petroleum products, as the agreement aims at achieving cooperation in securing and exchanging vehicles data registered in traffic administrations all over the republic to facilitate issuance of smart cards of the vehicles’ owners to be used when fuelling. The Minister of Finance, Mr. Hany Kadry Dimian said that, this agreement allows the Center of issuing smart cards to benefit from the registered vehicles data to audit the smart cards issuance process. The Minister pointed out that this agreement is within cooperation of the various state bodies to speed up the system completion and effectiveness to enforce the economic ministerial committee decree issued during its meeting held on 12/10/2014,  headed by the prime minister, Eng/ Ibrahim Mahlab  , to accelerate applying the electronic system all over the republic according to the plan submitted to the committee that will end by April 2015. The Minister said that the electronic system includes control tightening on the process of distributing  petroleum products including solar, gasoline and fuel oil that prevents misuse of such products as they are being smuggled out, therefore we try to prevent the same through the new system ,which  also allows follow up the petroleum products distribution process to different governorates and districts intraday through the central electronic control room affiliates to Ministry of Petroleum and interfere by  supplying more petroleum products in case of any unexpected oil demand bottlenecks , contributing in improvement of management mechanisms of distribute on network . Ensuring security of E- system data, Mr.kadry, pointed out that ,the system shall be provided with the necessary encryption and security mechanisms to prevent any external penetration. All the required equipment, programs and communication lines as well as, the network encryption and securing base shall be set achieving a completely secured system for data exchange.   He also explained that this agreement between both ministries aims at cooperation in implementing this national project and activate on such system consecutively in all the Egyptian governorates. He also pointed out to the E-site www.esp.gov.egy  through which citizens can register and apply to issue smart cards of petroleum products distribution and specify the address to receive the same.
