Ministry of Finance assures: We have not received any new loans, and what was published today in the media is not true at all

We call on the media to be cautious and accurate and to obtain information from official sources

 

Ministry of Finance has categorically denied what was published today in the media regarding Egypt's receipt of new credit facilities worth $2 billion from a group of regional and international investors.

A statement by the Ministry of Finance said that the Ministry assures that it has not obtained any new loans, and that what was published today in this regard is completely untrue.

 

The statement added that the Ministry calls on various media outlets to exercise caution, investigate accuracy, and obtain information from their official sources.
