Ministry of Finance confirmed that the news has been published in a newspaper regarding the increment of Customs duties on potato exports is completely incorrect; whereas there aren’t either Customs duties nor taxes on any Egyptian exports; the Customs duties are only imposed on  Egyptian  imports, i.e. goods and commodities, and according to Egyptian tariff.   Customs Authority declared that there is no intention to impose Customs duties or Taxes on Egyptian exports, activating access to World Markets. Such approach has been applied in Egypt by Ministry of Finance two decades ago. (Source: Ministry of Finance)
