• Higher financial advantage for teachers, and accordingly a higher wage , will be issued by a decree from Prime Minister and applied with minimum wages as of 1st of January 2014 . A high level official in Ministry of Finance  announced that,the recently allegationsin education circles about non eligibility of  teachers in minimum wages,that expected to be applied on the State’s civil employees as of 1stof January 2014,he confirmed that they received higher financial advantage and thereby their  wages became  higher than the minimum wage. The statement issued by Ministry of Finance asserted that coordinating meetings held between both Ministers of Finance and Education concentrated on achieving better ways and mechanisms of  improving teachers wages and in a way that guarantee treasury ability to continuouslyfund the increment  which agreed up on, against job burdens and their exerted effort during educational year in different stages, and that was presented to Prime Minister. He further assured the continuity of teachers preference in Education and Honorable  Al-Azhar through their special position organized and guaranteed by both laws nos. 155,156 /2007 and its amendments. Ministry of Financeaffirmed that the government is keen to take  procedures which contribute in developing educational process efficiency, whether through improving teachers’ wages or work environment in schools.
