Minister of Finance Dr. Youssef Boutros Ghali said a new system is being installed to invest pension funds next year.  At a People’s Assembly session under speaker Dr. Fathy Serour, Dr. Ghali noted that surplus from pension funds will be invested as opposed to earlier strategies of depositing the amounts at the National Investment Bank.  The Assembly has also discussed the Budget Statement for the fiscal year 2006/2007 (Source: Al-Ahram)
