Media Should Verify Reports to Preclude Rumors and Avoid Misleading the Public While no wage minimum rate has been set so far, a working group, including the Ministries of Finance, Manpower and Social Solidarity, is now designing a new structure of wages ensuring social justice, said a high-ranking official source of the Ministry of Finance, dismissing as groundless a statement made by the Undersecretary of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration (CAOA) to the effect that the government had set a minimum wage rate. The source also denied reports published on Thursday on writing off defaulting farmers' debts.
