Minister of Finance Dr. Youssef Boutros Ghali has announced the formation of specialized committees to monitor the working process in the setting up of the Egyptian Tax Authority including the short and long term plan for the operation of the new entity.  The time limit has been set at twelve months when the official formation of the authority is actualized.

The new committees will list the detailed procedures linked to the new entity including the new policy of reaching out to customers and taxpayers and the bridge in relations that had otherwise been a missing link with the older authority.

International institutions will be asked to support with expertise in the refurbishing of the new authority which will be set in accordance with international standards.
