The government services authority is carrying out a listing of all government vehicles in an effort to rationalize its use in all government agencies. The plan will include the purchase of government vehicles on a centralized basis, noting that the purchase of new cars will be solely for the purpose of replacing older vehicles. Sold cars will take place in auctions while older cars will remain in the custody of respective agencies to be readied for a public auction under the supervision of the government services authority.
