Tax committees have begun reviewing tax appeals to finalize disputes for the year 2005.  Head of the Tax Authority Mahmoud Mohamed Aly said that respective committees have been formed to review appeals on the different activities. Directives have been issued to all tax districts to terminate open  taxpayers’ files for amounts over the past years and offer facilities for friendly closure on disputes to encourage confidence building within the tax community.
