The Ministry of Finance has issued a list of amendments on stamp duties to be issued shortly. Advisor to the Minister on tax affairs Ashraf el Araby has denied reports claiming that proposals by businessmen  on  tax reforms have been shunned, adding that amendments have been reviewed at the People’s Assembly.  Reforming stamp duties are aimed at reducing stamp duty brackets to 22 and eradicating 29 other confusing distributions.
