Minister of Finance Dr. Boutros Ghali agreed to lift the lowest salary limit for government employees from LE 30 to LE 36 to represent 10% of the basic salary with no ceiling and to be exempt from taxes. The salary hike will also include 50,000 workers paid on a daily basis.( Source: Al-Ahram)
