The Minister said during his speech that the Egyptian Economy face many difficult challenges , but we have plans to address them , most notably is  moving forward to  implement the roadmap and complete rebuilding of the constitutional institutions ,as people will elect the president in accordance with free will ,  followed by the parliamentary elections .

 The Minister explained  the necessity of reforming the petroleum products and presenting  the options discussed by the government and present it to the society concerning the budget deficit correction and expanding the tax base and increasing transferred  amounts to serve the vast majority of Egyptians .  the Minister renewed the emphasis on the Egyptian Economy's ability to take - off and achieving high growth rate , pointing that Egypt doesn't exclude resorting to the global financing  markets but likely  after the elections events.

 It is pointed out  that the Minister of Finance will give a speech next Tuesday in front of the  members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo.

It is mentioned that the Minister of Finance approved an  allocation estimated at L.E  9.5 billion to  support the efforts of Ministries and Government Entities to improve the quality of public services rendered to citizens , besides providing the basis commodities needed by the society within the period of the first April till mid-MAY.

The Minister agreed also to allocate an amount for program of  supporting women – headed households and children under school age , which is considered one of the most important social programs adopted by the Egyptian Government , especially that the total number of beneficiaries exceeds L.E 1400 million .

In terms of Revenues Authorities' news . a report from the Head of the Egyptian Customs Authority to the Minister of Finance revealed that the measures of customs' anti –evasion have succeed in seizing many attempts for goods smuggling through customs ports , including a smuggling attempt for million and 962 thousand  stimulant pills and 12ooo packages of sexual stimulating Gel  and 1200 drugs tubes were found on the  board of a container coming from China to Alexandria port .

 Marsa Alam Customs also abled to seizure a kids toy shaped a plane equipped with cameras in possession of  a passenger coming from France , and other toy with a  passenger coming from Lebanon . the Head of the Egyptian Tax Authority met within the week the  leaders and members of Egyptian bank Union to discuss and solve problems facing the Banks concerning different  tax processes .
