Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, honored Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance, as the Dean of the Executive Directors of the Board of Directors, and expressed his wishes for success in the "Board of Governors", as the Governor of Egypt at the Asian Bank. "He played an influential role in implementing our strategy and paving the way for an Afro-Asian development partnership," he said on the sidelines of the Bank's annual meetings in Uzbekistan.

 

Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance, stressed that we are proud of what we have all achieved, so that the Asian Bank has become the fastest growing and a leader in the advancement of infrastructure, climate and development. He expressed his appreciation for the Bank's support for the development path in Egypt with promising projects over the past years, and looked forward to further investments in the next phase.
