Port Said customs zone has begun the implementation of the risk system which will allow for the release of imported goods using the green line system for the first time.  The system will release containers without unveiling  contents.  Head of the Eastern customs zone, Undersecretary of the Ministry Abdel Salam al Hosseiny has accompanied an American customs delegation on  an inspection tour of the customs zone to review the latest in a project to upgrade the customs sites.  The tour has included the imports complex, the computer center and the upgraded customs center which has been inaugurated by Galal Abul Fotouh, the chairman of the customs authority.  The center operates through a single exit equipped with state-of-the-art technology to facilitate the loading of data.  The developed center hopes to upgrade customs exports.
