Under Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Ahmed Yaacoub denied that the new tax return has obstructed tourism to Egypt pointing to the flexibility at terminals.  Customs outlets have begun distributing customs returns on planes and ports in efforts to streamline traffic.  Mr. Yaacoub also denied bottlenecks were created because of demands to declare foreign currency amounts on entry or exit above ten thousand dollars or the equivalent.
