The Ministry of Finance is pleased to announce that it is making available 25 fully funded scholarship opportunities for outstanding Egyptian students at two of the world’s most prestigious universities — 10 places at Harvard University and 15 places at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for the academic year 2027-2028.

To benefit from these scholarships, applicants must first be accepted into one of the eligible programmes at these prestigious institutions. The application deadlines for Harvard and MIT are approaching (around December 2026) therefore the Ministry of Finance encourage all eligible students who are considering applying to start or complete their applications now and to ensure that they meet all university requirements before the relevant deadlines.

The application for the Egypt Scholarship opens in January, and you will find the applications on the Universities Website.
