Minister of Finance Dr. Youssef Boutros Ghali is reviewing a number of proposals to soften procedures undertaken by five million  pensioners  receiving 1.9 million pounds monthly through 9907 outlets. Head of the social insurance fund Rashed Salem has said that the proposals will include a lifting of the ceiling on floating monthly membership fees, including the unification of the serial number on the administrative department and the implementation of the social security number instead of the insurance code in addition to the amendment of the insurance legislature and assigning a part of the reserves of the national social insurance authority for the construction of a boarding conglomerate to be posted for sale with facilities for those insured.
