The Ministry of Finance has agreed, in coordination with a number of acknowledged tax experts to restructure Ministry institutions such as the tax and customs authorities in line with international standards to set the tax pace, offer facilities to taxpayers and encourage their commitment to pay their taxes to the state. Minister of Finance Dr. Youssef Boutros Ghali has announced that a parallel bonus system will be launched to replace a twenty year old apparaturs at the tax authority and which is adapted to the current living conditions.  The Ministry is also studying means of supporting tax funds to improve living conditions of tax employees and create a healthy climate in dealing with taxpayers.
