·        New advantages for military pensioners

·        Linking the value of the optional early retirement in future with the age of the retirement of the insured without reduction

·        Extension of the pension claim of injury to the occupational diseases to 10 years after retirement, rather than one year

Dr. Youssef Boutros Ghali Minister of Finance assured that the Government is committed to paying all the dues of pensioners and the insured, especially the rights established by the provisions of the Supreme Constitutional Court.

He pointed out that the amendments to certain provisions of the Social Security low currently presented on People's Assembly and Shura does not include any reduction or diminution or impairment of the value of the current or future pension or benefit granted to pensioners or their beneficiaries and that the aim of the amendments is to establish the ruling of the Constitutional Court to link the value of the pension early exit to the enactment of the pension without reduction.
