Head of the tax authority Mahmoud Mohamed Aly said that the authority is currently implementing an upgraded apparatus to handle taxpayers’ applications in efforts to encourage voluntary commitment. The upgraded system targets tax evasion and is highlighted with simplified procedures to integrate the new tax law.  Mr. Aly has explained that the new law, while streamlining the implementation of the taxation process it will simultaneously use a heavy handed approach with tax evaders.
