Head of the Customs Authority has announced that his department will launch the electronic payment system on customs dues at all outlets via the internet over a thirty day period. Mr. Abul Fotouh has noted that the new system will save both time and effort among employees through electronic payments that are determined by the Customs Authority. Mr. Abul Fotouh has reviewed the overhaul of the customs system as reflected in amendments on customs tariffs and customs regulations which have been finally listed in a booklet for the first time since the issuance of the customs law in l936. Mr. Abul Fetouh has explained that customs outlets are by definition set up to streamline goods and not to store products.
