Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk will continue his extended dialogue with international investors by participating in the Egyptian-German Business Forum 2025, organized by the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce on Thursday and Friday in Munich and Frankfurt. This comes as a new step on the path of a “trust partnership” with the business community, aimed at further strengthening economic relations between Egypt and Germany and creating new opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
Kouchouk will showcase the government’s efforts to stimulate investment through tax facilities and fiscal policies that support production and exports. He will also promote Egypt’s promising and attractive investment opportunities for German companies in priority development sectors, alongside holding several meetings with German officials and business representatives.
He will further highlight the joint and continuous efforts between the Ministries of Finance and Investment/Foreign Trade to improve the investment climate, reduce trade time and costs, and support export activities. Future plans will also be presented to maintain the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy, simplify procedures, and ease costs for the business community.
In an open discussion, the Minister will address the strong and balanced results of Egypt’s financial and economic performance during the last fiscal year—outcomes achieved thanks to the private sector’s positive response to government initiatives.
The participation of Egyptian government representatives in the forum reflects the state’s ongoing efforts to improve the investment climate and expand the role of the private sector, attracting more foreign direct investment in a way that strengthens Egypt’s path toward comprehensive and sustainable development.
