Euromoney has held its annual conference in London on Wednesday under the theme “Egypt Investors”.  A high level delegation attended from Egypt with the Ministers of Finance, Investment and IT attending, accompanied by the head of Egypt’s stock exchange Maged Shawky. Dr. Youssef Botrous Ghali delivered Egypt’s address at the opening ceremony.  The conference analyses the fiscal policy in Egypt and international and local financing in a session moderated by Mohamed Asaad who is councilor to the Minister of Finance on Public Debt.  Egyptian officials have also participated in a round table discussion on the challenges facing investors in Egypt, the benefits they receive and the investment map in the industrial zones in the Delta and Upper Egypt. Ghali met with his British counterpart and the head of JP Morgan Chase as well as a number of analysts, Moody’s and Standard and Poor’s.  He also toured the British Mintage.  Euromoney has selected a topic on investment in Egypt in view of  registered growth rates in Egypt, the economic reforms and the growing number of British citizens who are showing great interest in buying real estate here.
