Minister of Finance Dr. Youssef Boutros Ghali has issued directives for the settlement of taxes on differences in salaries. Advisor to the Minister, Ashraf el Araby has announced an amendment on the income tax law that curtails collection of tax upon notification.  Dr. Ghali has issued a rule that stipulates that certificates issued by entities that confirms payment of tax as proof of payment and therefore is to be considered a valid reason that tax authorities are to abstain from inflicting tax on already paid amounts.  )source :Ministry of Finance)
