The Head of State Public Budget, Walid Abdallah, affirmed that the digitalization of state public budget and the electronic connection of all agencies enabled us to make correct instant decisions in favor of citizens and investors, within the framework of a more flexible, comprehensive, and integrated vision for managing the state public finances. 

 

 

"We achieved significant progress in resolving financial entanglements among government agencies," said Abdallah, in a press conference held by the Minister of Finance, Ahmed Kouchouk, to announce the financial performance results of the past year. 

 

 

"Effective governance mechanisms have been put in place to enhance public spending and direct more resources towards human development (health and education), where the annual growth rate exceeded the average increase in public spending," added Abdallah. 

 

 

He pointed out that the electronic connection led to an integration between revenues and expenditure, which helped to achieve higher growth in public revenues without imposing additional burdens.
