Kouchouk in the award ceremony: I would like to thank all colleagues at the Egyptian Ministry of Finance and its affiliating authorities for the hard work and cooperation in the implementation of reforms which contributed to supporting economic activity

Africa Summit 2025 in London witnessed an international celebration with the Egyptian Minister of Finance, Ahmed Kouchouk, where he was awarded the Best Minister of Finance in Africa 2025, and one of the prominent economic figures in the continent. Many African ministers of finance attended the celebration, together with high profile political and economic officials.

 

The "African Leadership" magazine affirmed that "Kouchouk" was awarded Best Minister of Finance in Africa 2025 according to a global questionnaire, and in appreciation for his efforts in supporting financial stability and economic reforms in Egypt and Africa.

 

"I would like to thank all colleagues at the Egyptian Ministry of Finance and its affiliating authorities for the hard work and cooperation in the implementation of reforms which contributed to supporting the economic activity," said Kouchouk in the ceremony and while receiving the Best Minister of Finance 2025 award.

 

Kouchouk affirmed that the complete harmony among members of the economic group, together with the teamwork, contributed to implementing common effective reforms, taking into account  that we are adopting an ambitious track to enhance the competitiveness of Egyptian economy by empowering the private sector and stimulating productive and export activities. He pointed out that we have strong indications of stability and improvement of macro economy, which strengthened the confidence of local and international investors.

 

Kouchouk stated that Africa faces tough challenges which require real reforms and regional cooperation to build inclusive economies that can compete, pointing out that any African country cannot achieve progress alone, and we will succeed together, because the future of Africa lies in deepening economic and investment partnerships among the countries of African continent on both government and private sector levels.
