Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk congratulated eFinance during the celebration of its 20th anniversary, an event attended by several ministers and senior government officials. He praised the group as a key national partner in driving Egypt’s digital transformation and modernizing public financial systems.

He highlighted eFinance’s strong operational capabilities and its major contributions to government digital platforms, including the electronic invoice system, e-receipt, and comprehensive automation initiatives.

He emphasized that the data generated through these systems represents a strategic asset that will support better financial planning and improved risk management through advanced AI solutions.

The Minister noted that eFinance has become a leading regional player, transferring Egypt’s digital finance experience to several Arab and African countries. He stressed the importance of expanding AI-enabled services, enhancing mobile-based applications, and strengthening cooperation with global technology partners.

He concluded by thanking the Board and staff of eFinance, affirming that the coming years will bring deeper collaboration and more innovative digital solutions to support Egypt’s economic goals.

For his part, Eng. Ibrahim Sarhan, Chairman and CEO of eFinance Investment Group, noted that “our success story began with an idea, supported by the state’s confidence in our capabilities.” He explained that although the company began with major challenges, “today, all financial networks in Egypt are digitized, providing faster and more efficient services to investors and citizens.”

Sarhan added that the company has cooperated with various state entities to build the region’s largest electronic payment and collection network, affirming eFinance’s commitment to continuing innovation in digital solutions and expanding its services to drive even greater growth both locally and internationally.
