Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk affirmed that the Egyptian economy remains stable and is progressing along a path that is increasingly attractive to investment, manufacturing, and export-oriented activities, reflecting the positive impact of the government's ongoing economic and fiscal reforms.
Speaking during an open dialogue with international investors at a Citi-hosted event in London, Kouchouk highlighted Egypt’s strong fiscal performance, which has been supported by accelerating economic activity and growing private sector investment, reinforcing the foundations for sustainable growth.
The Minister noted that Egypt offers a wide range of promising economic opportunities backed by investment, tax, and customs incentives designed to enhance the business environment, improve competitiveness, and encourage both domestic and foreign investment.
Kouchouk also emphasized that the government’s partnership-based approach with taxpayers and the business community has contributed to strengthening voluntary tax compliance and boosting tax revenues without imposing additional burdens on businesses or investors.
He added that this collaborative framework reflects the government's commitment to fostering trust with the private sector while maintaining a supportive environment for investment, production, and exports, thereby enhancing Egypt’s attractiveness as a regional investment and manufacturing hub.
