Dr. Youssef Boutros Ghali, Minister of Finance to start paying the salaries of workers in the Ministries of Manpower and Immigration, and information as well as the authority of remote sensing for the month of April through the ATM card of State Bank, National Bank of Egypt in the first cooperation of the bank system with the new methods of electronic payment and collection of government and been completed built during the past two years by technology companies operating financial institutions e-finance, and in coordination with the Central Bank of Egypt, under the supervision of the payment and collection of e-government, Ministry of Finance. The minister added that the coming period will witness the expansion of the application of the new system after the success of the electronic exchange of the pension, he was being coordinated with a number of banks for the completion of the draft salary and benefits of workers in various government agencies and they approximately 5.5 million employees.

Dr. Ghali pointed that to support of the new system has been operating the automated teller machines ATM) for the Ministry of Finance and the company e-finance has been administered after the operation of the electronic exchange points (POS) for the same network outlets in the National Authority for Social Insurance which provides automated teller machines to the network of the Ministry of Finance to holders of government employees being paid a salary from those ATM mechanism without any fees for the issuance of plastic cards as well as the banks of the automated exchange.

He added that the system of payment and collection of government e-services will be provided again (next to the payment of workers of the State administrative system benefits of pensioners) example of the general revenue of customs and tax beside of insurance contributions, pointing out that the new system will reduce the time period for the circulation of currency and increase the effectiveness of e-government tools and access of electronic trading at the different analysis and study of market indicators as well as contribute to the new system in the management of cash flows for the public treasury is better to increase the transparency of macroeconomic indicators and the provision of standard financial statements.
