Tax and finance experts have reiterated that the simplifications of procedures passed by Minister of Finance Dr. Boutros Ghali to sort out tax disputes until December 31st, 2004 will help end a number of problems that dot the tax society and will resuscitate the broken trust between taxpayers and the tax authority. Experts have called on head of tax districts to abide by regulations that have been issued by the Minister of Finance and the head of the tax authority Mahmoud Mohamed Aly to transform the reform strategy into a reality. Teams have already been put in place to help solve disputes peacefully.  A new mechanism is already being installed to help finalize 85 thousand tax cases. (Source: Al-Gomhuriya)
