The real estate tax authority has issued a new monthly information booklet explaining the elimination of gender stamp duty stipulated in law 111/80, as well as the elimination of water resources development state fee in accompaniment.  The stamp duty will also be eliminated on lease receits on buildings already paying taxes in accordance with law 111/80. Head of the real estate tax authority Ismail Abdel Rassoul explained that the resolutions are part of ongoing amendments on the current law. (source: Al-Ahrar)
