Head of the tax authority Mahmoud Mohamed Aly has noted that a special department has been set up to include a number of technical brackets to  combat tax evasion among large taxpayers.  He reiterated the importance of combating tax evasion and noted the commitment of his authority in building an information system to unveil any form of misdemeanor as stated by the law. He said the tax base will define the true volume of operations among large taxpayers, affirming that the security and monitoring departments are actively cooperating.  He said  a wide range of information bases have been contacted at the real estate department, customs, insurance and industry.
